Bring 4 to 6 quarts of salted water to a boil. Add 1 cup of pasta elbows to the boiling water. Stir occasionally and cook for 7 to 10 minutes or until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water if using in a salad or serve hot with favorite sauce.
